How fast (mph) is the 52 foot plunge through the briar patch - down Spalsh Mtn ? Would it be like 15 mph....40 mph... 60 mph ...?
I have counted the seconds on the TV travel show - looks like 5 or 6 seconds from top to bottom of the drop.
Anyone have an idea of the speed ?

Splash Mountain (Frontierland)
This is by far one of the best rides at Disneyland and worth waiting in line for! Be prepared to get a little wet but don't worry, it doesn't take long to dry off afterwards. The 11-minute log ride takes you through swamps and bayous and down waterfalls, culminating in an exciting 52-foot drop (at a 45-degree angle) at a top speed of 40 miles per hour.
