How far/long do you drive to work ??

I don't know if there is a thread out there on this subject, but I'm just wondering who has the longest drive distance/time wise ... We live about 33 miles out and it takes a little over an hour to get here and my job will be moving at the end of the year about another 10 miles out and with Atlanta traffic will add about another 30 minutes which puts the distance at about 40 miles and time of about 1 1/2 hours to get here. Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth all the stress .... who else has a long, stressful drive to their job ??

I'm spoiled, I have 10 miles to go and it takes about 10-15 minutes depending on the stop lights!!

45 minutes in the morning (get to work at 6:45am)

at least an hour going home (leave work at 4:00pm)

About 30 minutes with no traffic + a 15 minute subway ride.

With traffic, could take over an hour or more.

My drive is about 13 miles, but it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 depending on traffic.

30 miles - usually 45 min. in the morning and an hour on the way home. Throw in snow or rain though and that time increases quite a bit.

Personally, it takes me about 1 minute to find my slippers and shuffle down the stairs to my office ! But DH has an hour commute each way................P

I probably have one of the shortest. My job is 3.5 miles from my house, but I have to go 3 miles past it to drop my daughter off at daycare. So total mileage is 9.5 miles - no complaints from me.

it's way better than my old commute: 16 miles and 1 1/2 hours!

11 miles and it can take anywhere from 35min to over an hour and a half, depending on traffic.

60 miles one way. About an hour and 15 minutes without traffic.

My longest commute ever was during an unexpected ice storm last winter - 6 hours to get to work.
Anyone from the Boston area will remember that day...

Oh, I forgot to add the ride home time .... it's a little better in the afternoon....about 45 minutes.

I am about 12 miles from work. It takes about 30 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon.

It only takes me about 5 minutes to get to work, which is a lot better than my drive to school. Driving to school takes me 25 minutes, and sometimes longer when there's traffic.
