I just saw on the news how more and more motorist drive farther to work now. Average commute is 45 minutes to an hour  Wow! My drive is 15 minutes. I guess I'm the lucky one. How long is your drive?

7 minutes with no red lights! I'm lucky too! i work with someone who drives an hour each way!

My commute is generally 20 minutes or so. I usually give myself about 30 minutes(more at Christmas time) though and am usually early.

Down the Stair to My Home Office. On the rare occasion I go into the Office Five miles, I really get mad if I hit two traffic Lights.

Currently 30 minutes against traffic, which is WONDERFUL. Around here, it's not distance that causes long commutes, it's the amount of traffic. So many people here commute into Montgomery County, DC or NOrthern VA.

We drive also, on a really good day about 35-40 minutes. Usually though, it's about 50-60 minutes. About the same by public transportation but you don't have to listen to anyone else's music or smell them or have them fall asleep on you when you drive. You just have to visit the pump alot more :sad2:

right now,, since i'm sl;eeping on the couch, my "office" is about 6 ft from my pillows.. after i get my arm healed enough to stop elevating it at night, about 25 ft

I drive 1 hour each way give or take a few minutes.

One of the supervisers at work has a 95 mile drive one way. :scared:

I float for three different practices. Depending on the day, it's either 25, 35, or 55 minutes each way.

47 minutes/45 miles through the Texas hill country. Very scenic drive!

10 minutes. 7 if all the lights are green and I don't encounter any school buses.

Depending on if I go and get coffee in the kitchen, about five seconds. :teeth:

I work from home. :thumbsup2

I am so blessed that I live 2 miles from my office. However, I am a caseworker and travel to see my clients in their homes. So I drive about 1000 miles per month for work. I don't like that part.

13.7 miles.....morning, roughly 40 minutes....evening, roughly an hour. I can do this in about 20 minutes in good traffic, but I never get good traffic for my commutes. Maggie

Sounds like my old commute on the North Shore of Boston.... 12 minutes with no traffic, easily an hour in normal rush hour traffic... ahhh... UNLESS you know the back way, then it's only 45 but you take your life in your hands crossing some of those back streets.

Now days my commute is about 20 minutes... drive DS to school, (add 5 if I hit D-n-D) drive back home (web developer) :goodvibes

About 20 minutes on city streets. I gave up the 60 minute freeway commute a year ago and couldn't be happier about it (much more relaxed when I get to work and when I get home).
