How far in advance?

Does anyone know when Disney will have their rates available for the CR for Feb 2004? I keep trying the website because I want to go ahead and book now so I can pay it out over the coming months, but they don't have rates this far in advance. Should I call the CRO?

When booking far in advance, my strategy is to book at the best rate I can find at the time over the phone. These reservations can be changed easily and often, right up to a few days before going. Then I watch for codes and 'trade up' to a better rate or a better resort at a similar rate. It seems to me that if you booked over the 'net and paid in advance, you might end up missing out on some great bargains. The only thing I ever lock in ahead of time is the park tickets. They never go down, only up. Just a thought.
