We will be in WDW in 45 days! We are booked for 2010!

Now with 2011 being WDWs 40th anniversary I know I want to be there for that and will try for Dec. that year!

How about the rest of you?!

I usually have a year ahead planned in my head. I have a reservation for December this year, next year I am planning October for Food & Wine.

Thats great Debbie! I love the Food and Wine Festival! We were just there this past October! Have fun!

We are booked for a couple of weeks during this years Food and Wine Festival and a few days in January 2010 for Marathon weekend. We always go during Food and Wine Fest and usually a time or two more each year.

I hadn't really thought that the 40 year anniversary was coming up. I wonder if WDW will have any special events!

I've had a lot of stress in my life lately and the one thing that has kept me sane over the past couple of weeks is planning DVC vacations in my mind for the next 3 years or so.

March 2010 we are booked for AKV in 2BR savannah view with add'l family joining us.
2011 -- Considering a DVC cruise, but may do AKV again instead, but just me and my son.
2012 -- DVC cruise -- my son will be in 1st grade, so I want to avoid him missing too much school and a DVC cruise in June sounds just about right.
2013 -- May have to skip this year if I use DVC points for the cruise.
2014 -- Would like to try a few nights at BLT this year. My guess is that I may be an owner there by this time since I initially bought in at AKV just over a year ago and have already added on twice.

Like I said, so far this is all in my mind (except for the 2010 trip).

Well..................in a perfect world :cloud9:

I have 15 trips scheduled between now and Dec 2012.

Is it time to start planning for 2013?

We usually plan out our trips 2 years in advance. This year we went to WDW in Feb (5 nights at AKV), and have 2 more trips in Aug (4 nights AKV 2 bedroom standard view and 3 night Disney cruise) and Dec (6 nights 2 bedroom savanna). We will be back in Jan 2010 (5 nights at AKV), Oct (dh and I, 7 night Disney cruise, and 2 nights at AKV 1 bedroom Savanna), Dec (6 nights). I do not like the length of time between our first two visits, so I may have to add another one inbetween Jan and Oct. :rotfl: We are working on 2011. Definitely an Oct and Dec trip, and thinking about buying points for VGC, to make a Cali trip in 2011 as well. :)

I have a spreadsheet that I use and I have vacation plans out to 2014. Of course, things do change, but it's good to see how my points will hold out.

I have our plans pretty set through NYE 2010. Haven't thought about 2011 yet! I need to know if we're going to have BLT points, because our other ones will be pretty much borrowed!:rotfl:

You must have a much bigger trip planing binder than me! I thought I had alot..especially when I add up total cost of the trips:
Here is mine:
Sept 6-9 GCH on DP, Concierge (whooHoo) of course this trip was supposed to be cheap, but we are now paying for our daughter and her kids as she just got a new job..moved back to our little town and took a pay cut..soooo..plus I'm thinking we really should do the Fastasmic Dessert and Ariel's...not cheap anymore.
Jan 3-10, 2010: WDW & OKW
May 13-15: VGC, Food & Wine time
November: Mexico AI..(DH wants to go back)
Jan 2011: VGC with middle son and family. New baby will be old enough to enjoy and they missed out on the last trip I took all the kids and grandkids on last May.
Nov 2011: DCL hopefully...

I need a third job.....

I did book a late January trip, but am still struggling with my 2010 plans. We always go 2 weeks in May, 1+week in August and 1+week in October. Then a last minute trip or two. With 3 homes I'm trying to crunch the points and find out who's going when. My family thinks I'm crazy asking them about 2010 vacation plans, but if I don't get that 2 bedroom when it's available I may not get it later. They just don't understand the process.

I'm planning for retirement!!! :rotfl: DH and I aren't that far from retirement and we originally were going to look into a condo or house in the Orlando area. Then we thought "why not just go to WDW for 6-8 weeks in the winter" and the rest is history. We sat and roughly figured out how many more points we would need and added on to our SSR account. Then....while in WDW last week :thumbsup2 we were talking about how we're goint to utilize those points and maybe stretch things out by staying somewhere else for awhile on cash. I don't know, but I do know we have time; like 2-3 years maybe???? ;)

Yikes! :scared1: I don't plan that far in advance! I have a trip this August to SSR (on DP's) and BLT, and then another to VB over NYE. That's it.....

I am thinking about HHI in May for just me and DH, one in August 2010, and another maybe over Christmas 2010, but I'll need an add-on for that. ;)

Me, too. But my spreadsheet is only through 2012 at the moment. Of course, I started it in 2006. I"ll probably expand it past 2012 later this year.

Wow--I thought planning out our vacations for 2010 was being really good. Guess I need to start thinking about 2011, 2012, 2013....

When we first became members 12 years ago, I had 2-3 years of point usage planned ahead. Now, I tend to plan slightly over a year out at a time. It does get more routine after awhile.:)

We have 3 trips booked for 2010 and have our 2011 and 12 trips waiting in the wings, btw anyone know when 2011 points will be released...

I just sent an e-mail to younger DS asking him for a tentative commitment for the family summer vacation next year. I know he's going to roll his eyes and maybe do worse when he gets the e-mail, but thank heavens older DS +DDiL understand and they're all going for sure!

PS. Diane, you're so right. I only spend about 1/4 of the time planning now as I did 6 years ago!:rotfl:
