How far in advance can you book rooms at the onsite hotels?

Just wondering. My September 2009 trip had to be pushed back til April 2010.

I'll be looking for room only, no package needed. I would just like to get it booked as soon as it is available and sock the money aside and be done with it.

Any ideas?

I booked our one night at RPR this Easter back in June last year over the phone (on the basis it may be a bit busy over the Easter vacation period). I believe internet bookings start around September.

Actually I think you can book them as far out as you want but they will charge you the rack rate and closer to your trip if the price lowers you can call and have your rate changed

Thanks... I'm so bummed about the rescheduling. We usually go in September and enjoy the low crowds and low prices to match. I'm actually dreading trying to go in April. We'll be there the last weekend of the month, so I'm hoping that most Spring Breaks will be over by then.

For my annual regular trips, I book 11 months out.

For other trips, I book when I have booked my air.

It won't be too bad at the very end of April, especially if you're onsite. You're right that spring break period will be just about over. What you may find is lots of school groups - at least, that was my experience when I went in very early May. But with FOTL it won't affect your attractions too much - it will mostly affect the walkways etc.
