How far do you think the walk will be between Jambo and the Kidani pool?

The CM at MS said it is a "good" walk. There is availability at Jambo for the dates we want, but not Kidani. We are going to waitlist. MY DH really wants to try out the new pool complex at Kidani. He thinks the kids will love it.

Yes, there is an outdoor walking path between the two buildings (approx. 2,500-foot walk from the porte cochere of one building to the other).

The porte cochere is the covered entrance of the resort.
2,500 feet is approx. 1/2 mile

Looking at the Resort Availability thread it appears that Standard views may be available at Kidani. I looked at May and June -- I don't think you listed your travel dates in your original post.

Please update the Availability thread if you have new dates that are booked-up.

Where is that thread? I need to leave for work, so can I tell you what I know, and could you update it please?

This morning, I booked Jun 14-19 2009 in a 1 bedroom SV, Jambo. Kidani(SV) had all but the 16th and 17th available also. I could of waitlisted, but there will still be construction, so I figured the noise would be quieter at Jambo.

Also, concierge was available, except for the 16th. (Jambo) This was all as of an hour ago.

Today is the 7th month booking wondow for those dates, FYI.

It's the 5th forum under Disney Vacation Club, right below Rent/Trade. It's called "DVC - Resort Reservation Availability". It hasn't been around very long.
