How Far Away Do Your Parent(s) Live?

My parents live in Midland, TX. It's quite a far ways from here in Seattle. The DH's parents do live locally, though. His mother is a little on the weird side and he's somewhat estranged from his father. I have to admit that I saw my own parents more in 2006 than I saw the DH's. I know -- I'm a horrible DIL.

10 minutes, if I hit all the traffic lights. 7 minutes if I don't.

My parents live across a 20 acre field from me. We can see each others houses. It's 5 minutes if I bother to get in the car and a 10 minute walk!

DH's parents live about 5 miles from us, so we're close to them as well!
