Maybe Im just confused as to how it all works, but I disagree that there's nothing to be gained. LIke here's the scenario for me:
I "might" have an ADR for CRT (or wherever) that I am willing to trade for an ADR to CP (or wherever). So say I give my ADR number to this person so he/she can have my ADr and then that person gives me his/her ADR number and we trade. then I have given mine up, and that person gave his/hers up but the ADR number she gave isn't accurate or doesn't exist. Do you all know what I mean, or is this impossible? Perhaps I don't really understand what all gets traded when you trade. And I am talking about just TRADING, not giving an ADR to someone else cause you dont' want it. Im talking you give me one that i want, I give you one that you want. Maybe someone could explain how they traded one for one. that might help me the most. Thanks
