How early do you order groceries and other questions?

I'm 2 weeks out. Is it too early to order groceries? And if I want wine in my list to Garden Grocer, do I just write it in the message portion? Is there a surcharge for wine?

I would order asap! Don't know anything about the wine question, but I've read during super busy times that they will limit the orders they fill for the day.
