Who said anything about challenge them when they are not acting out of line? Posters have been saying to never challenge them and just report the incident later. It's not about challengeing the police just to be a jerk but the idea that you should never challenge police even when they are doing something against your rights, is not a good thing.
There are many on this thread that act as though a police stopping them is in and of itself a violation of their rights. These are the people that would cop an attitude with a police officer based on their own prejudices, whether the officer is doing anything wrong or not.
Those people deserve whatever they get, IMO.
