Can offsite guests use the monorail line from the Magic Kingdom to get to EPCOT? How long does the whole ride take. How exactly do you do it? And how do you get into the Magic Kingdom if you park in the parking lot? I'm new and clueless!

You can take the magic kingdom (MK) express monorail to the ticket and transportation center (TTC) (express runs only from MK to TTC)and then get on the epcot monorail, you could take the resort monorail from magic kingdom and still get off at the TTC and get on the epcot monorail, but you that will take a bit longer. You can also take the ferry from the MK to the TTC and then get on the monorail to epcot.

To get to MK from the parking lot (TTC) you will either get on the express monorail (quickest, normally) or the ferry from TTC to MK or the resort monorail to MK (but it will have stops along the way).

and yes, offsite guests can use all the WDW transportation..

the ride from MK to TTC is about 5 minutes. The ride to epcot is 7-10 minutes. The question is how long is the wait, do you hit the first monorail u see or do u wait for the next one, and what time of day is it?

Generally there are 3 trains on EPCOT beam I believe and 4 on express. I'm not in monorails, but I usually pay attention to their trains and that's what I usually see at night anyway. Wait time really is minimal between trains. The only exception is if they need to take a train on/off a beam to the shop. There is also the possibilities of guest emergencies or break downs that can cause delays on a beam. With that disclaimer in, I would say half an hour to 45 minutes is the amount of time it will take you to go MK-->EPCOT.
