Just sorting out the final costs for our trip before we book everything. There's 4 of us, all adults. Me, DMum, DSister, DSister's Boyfriend. Travelling out August 31st until the 14th September

Flights: £1800 - with BA
Hotel: £560 - Hawthorn Suites n/r Universal
Cruise: £780 - Disney Wonder 11th Sept, 2 Catagory 12 staterooms

I'm really excited about this trip, it's only my 2nd trip and will be DSBf's first trip to Orlando. I still need to figure out the Disney and Universal tickets. I will probably buy the $81 tickets from DU again as they worked well for us last year, am wondering whether we should buy Disney tickets from the UK or do as we did last year and buy on the gate, as we did last year and the tickets weren't too bad.

Is the suite 1 or 2 beds? with being 4 adults maybe better 2. Hotelopia have a good offer on Cane Island for a 2 bed condo at about £23/night http://caneislandrental.com/CaneIsland.html Its a new development withing walking distance of Old town on 192.
Maybe you prefer The location of Hawthorn but if its only 1 bed thought it was a bit pricey.
Its showing £29/night on their site, you need to use code and cashback site to get it down to £23.

Its a 2 bed room with a sofa bed as well, so we only need one room. Really, we kind of need to go with that hotel as it provides a free hot buffet breakfast, free good transportation to Universal and WDW and is in a good place. As we stayed there last year we now know whats around the area eg TGI's, McDonalds, Pirate Dinner Show and isn't that far from walmart (helping our taxi fee). I have quite a few times looked at other hotels in the I-Drive area however after discussing the price vs the amenities with my mum, she would rather stay there, even if it costs more although it costs up as about £140 each for the hotel for the whole trip.
