We will be going to the MK on Monday, July 10. There will be a party of 4, three adults and a seven year old. Only my sister and I can ride the major thrillers. So, here is what I am thinking for the morning.

Beat feet to get there at rope drop.

Sis and I high tail it over to Space Mountain, while Brother in Law and Nephew take the railroad to Frontierland to get 2 FP's for Splash, and 2 FP's for Big Thunder. (Anyone have an idea what our return times will be?)

We meet at Buzz and all ride.

All head over to Fantasyland to ride Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan and It's a Small World. We'll get FP's for Philharmagic if we can while we are here.

All ride Haunted Mansion.

Sis and I head to Splash and Big Thunder with the FP's, while Brother in Law and Nephew go to Tom Sawyer.

All meet up at Country Bear Jamboree and enjoy the show.

Head back to Fantasyland for Philharmagic if it is our FP time.

Keep in mind, that this will be a Monday in July. What time do you think it will be when we finish up at the Jamboree? Would this be a good point to plan to take a break back at the hotel?

IF you arrive BEFORE rope drop, you'll have NO TROUBLE getting on Space, Splash or BTMRR.

They MIGHT not have the FP distribution OPERATING that early for Splash and BTMRR (these rides are no longer "swamped" early in the morning.)

So that's the possible flaw in the plan.

I'd ride those first and get FP for Space (its FP machines are usually open in the early AM.)

There's just no way to KNOW for sure at this point.

What about you all head over to space and they wait for you. if you are one of the first on you will be in and out of there in no time. They won't be waiting on you long. Go to Fantasyland do the rides there and then all head over to BTMRR and SM ?

I would head to Space, let them ride the Astro orbitor while you ride space before all heading to Buzz. (20 minutes total time)

Hit the rides in Fantasyland including Philharmagic if their is more than a 15 min wait (less than 15 minutes means you are going in the next show and you will wait inside and be looking at these hilarious posters. Should take about an hour especially if you can time Philharmagic right, just make sure you go to Pooh and Pan first). If there is more than a 15 minute wait for either you may want to get FP if the wait for those is not long.

Then go to the Huanted Mansion. (20 minutes)

Pick up FP for Splash and Big Thunder (should have about a 1 or 2 hour wait for the ride.) Watch the Bears and eat lunch at Pecos Bills or if it is still early see the Tiki Birds. Then let them go to Tom Saywer while you ride BTMRR and Splash. If there is still time before your tickets than see the Tiki Show, its cool and the only wait I have ever had is for the previous show to get out. (It will take you 30 minutes to ride Splasdh with a FP- the ride itself is 15 minutes and another 10 to ride BTMRR) Have them meet you at the Porch by the Bears after they get back for Tom's. It will take them 5-10 minutes just on the rafts unless it is really crowded. (TIme on this one could really vary- the bears show takes about 20 minutes plus any time you have to wait for the last show to get out, the Tiki Show is another 20 minutes)

You can take a break although you may want to eat lunch before you head back. It will be after noon by this time although it could be earlier or later depending on the crowds and opening time. One Saturday my DH and I arrived at ropedrop(in end of Feb) and rode Buzz, Astro-Orbitor, Pooh, Pan, Philharmagic, tried HM(it was broken down after stretch room) and were back at main street within 1 hour.

If you do have them get FP first thing in the morning the return times will start 1 hour after opening and you will not necessarily make it there before the FP run out and could be denied enterance. Some people have been allowed to use expired FP for rides but I have been denied enterance with a expired FP before and it was on a slow day- the regular line for the ride was only 20 minutes.

I would let them ride through Buzz a few times while you are in SM. I know my boys had to keep trying to get the high score.

Thank you for your responses. They are very helpful.
