How does the + water park work?

I was looking at getting a
"4 Day Park Hopper® + Water Park Fun & More"
ticket. If on days 1-4 I got to a the regular parks and don't do any water parks do I get to go to a water park on day 5 and 6 of my 6 day trip?

Yes! And days 7 and 8 as well! You don't have to use entitlements every day- you have 14 days from first use to use all entrances.

Yes. What you will get is 4 Theme Park days and then 4 ENTRIES to the Water Parks or DisneyQuest (assuming that is still open). You can use these privleges within 14 days of the ticket's first use. So you could do 4 full theme park days then 4 WP+F entries. You could even use 2 in the same day if you like and go to a water park and DQ. Hope that helps.

You can also use WP+ on mini golf and Disney Quest. We added it on our last trip (8/23-9/3) where we had 6 day park tickets giving us 6 entries to the others. Thought we'd be at the water parks more than we were (only went 2x due to rain/hurricane), but ended up using it twice for DQ since we went to Disney Springs a lot for dinner. Was gong to use last entry for golf on our last day, but again the rain killed that plan. Still thought it was a good value though.

One thing I didn't see mentioned is they are really separate "water parks and other things" tickets.. You can do a waterpark and a theme park on the same day without the park hopper option. The park hopper only adds the ability to go to 2 different theme parks in the same day.
