How does our DHS day look?

We will be at WDW from July 6th through the 13th. It will be me, my dh, my 15 yo ds, my 11 yo dd, my parents, my brother, his wife and their almost 2 yo ds. We are all staying at Port Orleans Riverside and we have the quick service dining plan. We fly in on the 6th and fly out on the 13th.

We have one full day at DHS planned. We will probably park hop over to DHS on a different evening to see the Star Wars fireworks show. Our full day at DHS will be Tuesday, July 9th.

We will head straight to Toy Story Mania at rope drop. Then we will head to Star Tours (3 or 4 of us won't ride this). We will hit up Muppetvision after that. We have a TOT FP (10:30) for most of us... the others have a Beauty and the Beast FP at the same time. The same ones that have a TOT FP also have a RNRC FP right afterwards. We will see the Incredibles Celebration and eat lunch before heading back to our resort for a long swim/nap break.

When we return to DHS we will do the Frozen show at either 4:30 or 5:30. Then we will do the Lightning McQueen racing academy (may do it earlier if we miss the 4:30 Frozen show). We have a SDD FP at 7:20. I am going to try to get a Fantasmic FP for us all after we use our last FP of the day.

How does this day look?

All looks fine if that's all you plan to see. You didn't mention opening or closing times this day & whether you're using any EMH time. I would not expect a F! FP to be avail after 7:30pm. There is no need to put Muppetvision so early in the day (during prime ride time before crowds build) but if it works best for your group & to not backtrack, then its fine. Happy Planning!

ETA: try moving that SDD FP for before your lunch break, the night before your DHS day or that morning while your in line for other things. If you can, you're more likely to get that F! FP.

If the 11 yr. old in your group hopes to do Jedi Training Academy, make sure you sign up early that morning as the spots fill quickly.

I just went in to my touring plans and swapped Lightning McQueen and Muppetvision. Since Lightning McQueen is newer (and one of my nephew's favorites) we will want to make sure to do that one.

Lots of criss crossing in the heat. Just be prepared for it.

I just updated our plans for less criss-crossing:

First TSMM, then Star Tours, then Lightning McQueen, next TOT/Beauty & Beast FP, RNRC FP, eat lunch and then take break back at resort. Frozen Sing a long, celebrate with Incredibles, muppetvision, SDD FP, Fantasmic.
