how does one go about getting tagged?

It usually just happens when you least expect it.

and you have to post some so they have some idea of what to tag you with

I've been curious abt this too. Who does it? Is it the moderators?
Seems to be no rhyme & reason. I've seen people with just a handful of posts with a ton of pretty colorful ones, and people who have been members for years, with tons of posts, with nothing.......
