Here is the deal. I had bought points for our family of four to use. However last year we had our third child, I know that our studio accomodations will not do anymore. So I amlooking to add around 40 points per year until I reach amount needed for a two bedroom accomodation for our vacation times.

What do I do? Who do I call? Which VCR will they be selling points from??

You just need to contact your guide. They have promotions for adding points, I am not sure the details, but it is for more points than what you are looking for. I am not sure what you mean by BCR....if you are looking at Home Resort they will have SSR and AKL with all UY's. If you are looking at one of the sold out resorts, than you might have to waitlist. I believe Disney will only sell your current UY....just remember if you buy a different resort, those points cannot be combined with SSR points for home resort booking advantage.

It is super easy! I added on 50 points last year. I wanted more BWV points - so I had to wait list for my use year, but it took less than a month and the points were in my account and my CC was charged. Then just yesterday, I added on 50 points at AKV. Called my guide, gave her a credit card and the points are there today. Yippee!

Good luck! But be careful, Disney makes it TOO easy to add on!

Since the easiest thing for you to do as far as points usage goes, is to add on at your home resort, you should contact your guide about that. He/she will be able to sell you points for most home resorts, and if your use year isn't currently available, they will put you on a wait list until they are available.

Buying at a different resort will not be as useful for you, because it will mean changing resorts to reserve at the 11 month window, or waiting until the 7 month window to book.

What is your home resort? I suspect some will be easier to get than others. We have done two add ons. One was substancial (150 points) and one was smaller (69 points), but both were easy to do, and we did not have to wait either time.

We originally bought SSR and then did a 120 point add-on also at SSR. Although I love and stay at the other resorts, I felt it would just be easier for me if all of my points were at the same resort. Yes, that only allows me to book SSR at 11 months out, but we haven't had any problems booking others at 7 months or less.

And YES it is WAAAAAYYYY too easy to add-on points. One five-minute phone call and you're done!

We added on 70 points. I called my guide at 9:00 AM, he called me back at 9:30, the points were showing up in my account on the web site by 7:00 PM.:wizard:
