jetBlue boarding:
I don't know if I just had bad Gate Agents or what, but the experience that stands out most is the time when I was in the Extra Legroom seating in the front row (yes, I will pay extra for a seat I never used to - because I need that seat), in a wheelchair - expecting, typically, to be boarded first. Nobody showed up, nobody approached me, no announcement was made about preboarding.
They started loading the Extra Legroom passengers. I wheeled into line with the other special passengers and was sent away before anybody even looked at my boarding pass. There wasn't anyone to push the chair down the jetway, and I wasn't allowed to roll myself
. It wasn't until somewhere mid-boarding that one of the GAs decided it was time to let me board (I was the only passenger on that flight who needed special assistance).
Actually, I had problems at three of the four boardings/debarkings on that trip, although this one obviously is the one that stands out. After a great deal of back-and-forth with jetBlue, I finally got an apology and a promise to retrain the Gate Agents in Boston
