How does Express Plus work?

I understand that I can purchase Express Plus to get into the express entrance of rides. I'm thinking this is to avoid having to go to the express machine and also doesn't limit you to one pass every two hours.

Do I need to buy one for myself and another one for DH? I don't suppose they'd let us both through on one pass. Also, is it only one pass per ride? Or can I choose where to spend my passes?

Any insight on this program would be appreciated!

You are correct. Each person must have their own pass and they are valid for one visit per ride. You can also take advantage of the free Express passes too.

I have an annual pass, does that mean I can swipe it at the machines to get an express pass? Do I have to pay for it?

The express pass plus is good for one ride on each ride for that day. We used these in July and they were worth every penny (they were $37 at that time). The longest we waited was 15 mins. We didn't buy them for the Studios and we waited in line about an hour each ride and didn't get to do everything. They are supposed to mark on your ticket that you have ridden so you can't go on multiple rides, but on several rides they did not, like Dueling Dragons, Ripsaw Falls, Popeye's. We could have ridden those all day on express. This was consistent both days we bought the passes.
