As far as I have understood, there are busses/boats/monorails from resorts to themeparks and from resorts to DTD.

Are there any from theme park to theme park (ex. from AK to MK)?

Are there any from theme park to DTD?

And can you WALK from Epcot to MGM? How long/far is it?

1) No theme park to theme park
2) no theme park to DTD
3) Yes, 20-30mins depending on your personal pace.

I beg to differ with answer for #1
Are there any from theme park to theme park (ex. from AK to MK)?Monorail from TTC to Epcot. Bus from TTC to AK and MGM. Bus between other parks also. Boat from MGM to/from Epcot. I believe only bus between AK and other parks.
Are there any from theme park to DTD? No, from resorts.

And can you WALK from Epcot to MGM? How long/far is it?
Yes, about one mile - 20 minutes.

This is JMHO, I'm sure others may have better information.

Not true! There is bus service from AK to MGM and Epcot, boat service or walk between MGM and Epcot! :confused3

Yup.

There is a monorail line from MK to Epcot, and a boat route from the back of Epcot to the Epcot resorts and MGM. The rest of the park-to-park combos are handled by buses.

Nope. Disney discontinued all busses from parks to DTD and from DTD to parks several years ago in response to locals and off-site Guests parking for free at DTD and taking the busses to the parks. The parking at DTD was being overwhelmed.

You can walk it, but it's a long way, especially in the summer (1.25 miles along the Boardwalk side, to be exact). The portion of the walkway from the Epcot resorts to MGM has no shade and is a frying pan in hot weather. The boat is a better option, since it is both shady and air-conditioned.

Thank you for your answers, it helps in planning my few park-days!!

To be a little more specific, you can exit/enter Epcot via the International Gateway, which is near the United Kingdom.
The IG is where the Epcot resorts of Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin are located. All these resorts are an easy walk from Epcot.
You can walk to the Disney Studios from this area but, as posted, it is a long walk in the heat. The Friendship boats service the Epcot resort area. They run continuous service from the Epcot International Gateway to the Disney Studios from early morning until late at night. Along the route they stop at the Yacht/Beach Clubs, Boardwalk, and the Swan/Dolphin.
Both the walk and the boat ride takes about 30 minutes. But the boat is a nice break from all the walking you do, especially in Epcot.
I understand there is also bus service from the main entrance of Epcot (Future World) to the Disney Studios but I have never used this as we normally stay at one of the Epcot resorts.

Thank you. I think I'll take the boat then, my feet will like that more than walking! But, if I walk, I can stop at Beaches and Cream for an ice cream, right? ;)

You can if you take the boat, too - it stops at the Yacht and Beach Clubs, not far from Beaches and Cream.

Do the busses run from the Waterparks to the Parks?

I think for me a better question would be, Is it possible to get a transportation schedule? One that gives the times for buses, monorail or other transportation services for each resort and park and what their particular routes are?. I think it would make for easier day planning, adrs etc etc...

As PCFriar80 posted earlier in this thread, there most definitely is park to park transportation. How could WDW sell park hoppers if you couldn't park hop.

Sorry in my mind I was only thinking direct bus service.

There is no set schedule. The buses, boats, and monorail are "continuous" from about 90 minutes before park opening till about 90 minutes after park closing.

Near opening and closing they have more buses, so they come more frequently, during the middle of the day, they are more space apart as there are fewer buses.

From park to park is as follows:

Magic Kingdom to Epcot: - Monorail - transfer at TTC, Monorail

Magic Kingdom to Studios - Monorail to TTC, bus to Studios
OR
Walk to Contemporary (5 minutes), bus to Studios

Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom - Monorail to TTC, bus to Animal Kingdom
OR
Walk to Contemporary, bus to Animal Kingdom

Epcot to Magic Kingdom - Monorail - transfer at TTC, Monorail

Epcot Future World to Studios - Direct Bus
Epcot World Showcase to Studios - Boat or Walkway

Epcot to Animal Kingdom - Direct Bus

Studios to Magic Kingdom - Bus to TTC, Monorail
OR
Bus to Contemporary, walk

Studios to Epcot Future World - Direct Bus
Studios to Epcot World Showcase - Boat or Walkway

Studios to Animal Kingdom - Direct Bus

Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom - Bus to TTC, Monorail
OR
Bus to Contemporary, Walk
