How do you type /organize your itinerary?

I type mine up on Microsoft Word and then shrenk the copy down to a 5" by 5" itenerary per day. I find this works well for me. I list which park for a.m. and which park for p.m. and list one or two ressie confirm's as well. I have cancelled ressie's the day of if I realized that I wouldn't make it or was just too full. I leave the afternoons open as I have been known to stay in the park or go back to room for an afternoon break which I leave up to the way that I feel at that moment. In the morning before leaving hotel, I tear off that days iten. and take it with me. The only days that I do not change are the days that I'm going to MK as I don't like to attend when they have there peak crowds. All other days are mostly flexible. In fact, last year I left Tuesday as my waterpark day but it poured down raining, so off I went to MGM and Epcot (turned out to be a beautiful afternoon). I was originally going to go to MGM/Epcot on Thursday but changed that to my waterpark day (which turned out bright and sunny). I also leave a few days without ressie's and just show up at the rest. to ask if they have a seat available (offseason and midweek most places do have something available). Leave a little flexibility in your plan. Have fun.

I have separate sheets within this file for each component e.g. there's one for the final itinerary (which keeps changing LOL), one for each park where I have been gathering misc. info as well as the "must-do" rides to hit first, pricing info, general notes. I usually have the file open when I am online, so that anything I read about that's interesting or a good tip, I type in.

The week before I go I will consolidate all the important info, finalize the itinerary (including PS' and important numbers), and print out each park page. It's a short trip, and we're doing 2 parks plus MNSSHP, so it's pretty simple.

When we go as a family in a few years it will be a much longer trip and will include EVERYTHING, so I will have to expand my spreadsheet!
