I answered buses, although last time and next time we took/take the car.

I wouldn't rent a car for a WDW stay, because I had almost only good experience with the buses, but if we come from someplace else and already have a car, it's nice because it's so much easier to go from one resprt to the other.
I usually plan our ADRs accordingly: if we have a car, we eat more at resort restaurants, if not we tend to eat in the parks, DTD or at our own hotel.

We always rent a car but will use Disney transportation We don't feel it's stressful driving around Disney plus we like the freedom to explore more
I like to go to Walmart and Target and visit friends that live close to Disney
but will take the bus to MK if staying in Epcot area plus we always visit MK on our last day so we can take the monorail back to TTC just to hear the goodbye spiel!

WDW transportation (i.e. buses, boats, monorail) but we also will pay for a taxi when we feel like it too!

I answered buses. We rely strictly on Disney transportation, be it buses, monorail, or boat. We must be strange because we actually don't mind the buses and 100% appreciate that they are provided for our use.

Disney allows us a "complete" vacation. No cleaning, cooking, driving...just fun, fun, fun!! We have never had any major issues with Disney transportation but we are pretty go with the flow. :goodvibes

I agree %100! Love Disney transportation! So glad it provided for us! I know it can take a long time sometimes but we just plan for that! We also like to drink and would never drink after drinking so the Disney transportation is great for us!

We use the buses, boats, and monorail. We usually use a car service for R/T transfers between MCO and the resort, but sometimes we rent a car if rentals are low enough and equal close to what we would pay for a car service. If we do rent a car, it sits until it's time to go back to the airport because for us, Disney transportation is too easy. We are go with the flow kind of people and are never in a hurry to get anywhere, so we have no problem waiting for a bus, boat, etc. because we know we'll eventually get to where we need to go. Plus it's great to relax after leaving a park or DTD and not have to worry about driving.

Just curious how come you don't use Magic Express between MCO and Disney?

I answered "other".

We stay at the Poly and spend most of our park time at either MK or EPCOT so we mostly use the monorail. DH hates buses so we use a taxi cab when traveling to DHS, AK, DTD or the water parks.

We use a car service to get to/from MCO and our resort.

We use the bus, boat and monorail. Never had a problem with any of it, even when our youngest was in a stroller. It seemed it would be more of a hassle to have to pack up the car, drive to the park, unpack the car, and then either walk or have to take a tram to the entrance. Anyway, we are leisurely Disney travelers, we know we will be back so it isn't like we have to make sure not to miss everything we would like to see and do.

We've always been perfectly happy with the buses. Fortunately, we've never encountered the problems that I always read about. Most of the time, we've only waited ten minutes at the most for a bus. The most we ever waited was probably 25 minutes or so and that was leaving MK on an EMH night. Getting to other resorts for dinner takes some additional planning, but we've always managed. For my part, I'd rather save the money for souvenirs and not rent a car.

That's because VERY rarely do people report positive things, only negatives.. There are some, but not many.

We have always rented a car. We do a lot of traveling from resort to resort so this really saves us time. For us a rental car is easier so that is way we go. However we know as many people who prefer the buses/boats etc. and wouldn't considering renting a car. Just depends on each family.

We live close enough to drive to WDW so we always have our car and prefer to drive to the parks & resorts.

I answered rental car, but the truth is we use a combination. For AK, it's almost always the rental car. IF we stay at BWV, we walk to EP and DHS and usually bus to MK. If we're staying other resorts, we mostly drive the rental but sometimes for the evening will take the bus (so we can have ahve a few cocktails:cool1:

I answered "own car" because we usually drive (or Autotrain). If we fly I don't go to the expense of renting a car, so those trips it's buses, etc.

Rental car or our own car. Only time I take Disney Transportation is from the TTC to MK (Boat or Monorail) or when I'm going to Epcot as drinking aroun the world and trying to drive would never be a good idea.
