How do you rent a Vistana Resort room?

I've heard and looked at the Tug classifieds, but it just scares me to hand over my money to a stanger on a website. And don't they want all their money before you even get there? Isn't there some other way to rent a room here? Or can someone recommend a particular owner that they used before?

Sheraton's Vistana Resort and the Villages are listed on Expedia.com under hotels. Type in "Lake Buena Vista" for the location, and you'll see it. Also, it is listed on Hotels.com. or the parent website, which is http://www.starwoodvacationownership.com/ and look under villa rentals. Hope this helps.
