I say ca-ruh-mel. I guess it has something to do with where you're from. I'm Cuban and my language growing up was Spanish...in Spanish it is pronounced CA-RA-ME-LO.

mine is a cross between the 2 choices. I throw a tiny "a" in there, it may sound like car mel. When its really car a mel. but not the southern version.
