How do you pronounce "Antigua"?

Is it "An-teeg-wa" or "An-tee-gah"?

Yup...us too. When were were there last year we asked the locals how to pronounce it and they said An-tee-ga so that's what we say now too.

My mother is from the Caribbean and has always said "An-tee-ga". She said she never heard anyone say "An-tee-gwa" until she came up to North America.
