How do you manage crowds during Holidays

Get there early....meaning when they open the doors....and ride what are your "must rides" early so you beat the crowds.

we plan on getting there at the crack of dawn... at least 30 min or more before opening and it is EMH !!!! 7am !!! we also plan to stay all day !!! dont want to be turned away later kids would kill us...

I believe the trick is earlier the better! Also last trip we skipped a few of the parades that we see EVERY TIME and instead hit the rides, there will be less people in the lines. We actually got to go on TOT while there was a parade on, and we only had a 13 min. line! That's awesome for TOT!

You just have to get there early, make good use of fastpass, and get the A-List rides out of the way immediately.

I agree 100%! We did that during Spring Break/Easter and walked on any ride we wanted to at MK.

I also agree about the ADR's but there might be some exceptions. We were in Epcot NYE two years ago. We had no PS (what they were called then) because we were not sure where we would be NYE - my boyfriends father lives in Orlando so we usually just take it as it comes. We got to Epcot around 10:00 am (yes, they were still open - but I think they closed the park later that day). Early afternoon we decided to get something to eat. I must have waited on line at the CS in Mexico for over an hour. Later that night while walking past Rose and Crown my boyfriends just decided to ask them if they could take us. This must have been around 5:00 or 6:00. Well, they gave us a beeper and they were able to sit us outside within an hour. This actually worked out real well because we were able to watch the first show that night of IllumiNations. Of course we stayed for the NYE show also (but not there). We found a place by the lake around 11:00 and waited.

The other thing with the ADR's is because it is NYE you will probably have to leave a deposit. Usually you can get this deposit back if you cancel within 48 hours.

Go early - always have a fastpass. It's doable, but NYE is as crowded as it gets. Be sure to pick a place to meet up -- should you get separated, which can often happen when it's that crowded.

bump up the time is now near for the holidays and thought others might also want to hear some advise..
