Bacon is always a sore topic with me and DH. He likes his chewey! I like mine just past crispy near the burnt side. When we go to restaurants I have to tell them to burn it and it still isn't done enough for me. I like bacon so that it breaks like a brick in my mouth....YUMMY!!!!!!

I'm the same way. I gag thinking of eating a "limp" piece of bacon.

I hate "fleshy" bacon. I only eat it crispy.

Definitely crispy! If it's not crispy then I always think it's not done.

I guess I like it medium. I like it so it still has a crunch, but you can bend it without breaking it.

Burned beyond all recognition. So much so that if I go to breakfast with my family and order bacon, they will not order it, for fear it will be done the same way.

My sis has a daughter that only likes it "juicy". Sometimes we share. She will it the "juicy" ends, and I will eat the crunchy middle.

I vote for burnt. that how my bacon turns out usually anyway. family doesnt know it comes any other way.

I should try that, I hate the messy stovetop.

I do mine in the microwave. I have a microwave dish that has grooves in it to catch the grease, but I also put a couple paper towels on the dish, but under the bacon, and cover it with a paper towel. I hate having to cook it on the stove.
