How do you like your bacon cooked?

I (and DW) love it crispy!! I have learned to make it on our outdoor grill! Thay way you don't get the bacon smell in the house!! also, I cook about two packages at a time, to save time. we freze it and zap it for a few seconds in the microwave!

I love it chewy. I have found the best way to make it this way is to cook it in the oven.

I agree! I cook the bacon in between paper towels in the microwave for 5 min or so until it cooks most of the fat out. Then I put the bacon on a cooling rack which is sitting inside of roasting pan. Cook at low heat until done. Using the rack allows more grease to drip down and therefore away from my hips ! Microwaving allows a lot of the grease to cook out before putting it in the oven. Lots of grease + hot oven = higher fire potential. Just make sure that you stay in the kitchen and check on the bacon frequently while it's in the oven so you don't end up with a grease fire.
