How do you handle tipping?

My mom and I are going the last week of August- We weren't originally planning on doing the DDP (more food than we need, we could eat cheaper w/o it) but now that it's been offered for free, we're on board! I've been on the DDP before, but that was prior to the tips being taken out of the plan. How do you handle tips? Just carry cash for tips? Can we tip on our room account or credit card if we don't order anything to be paid for out of pocket? I'd love to avoid carrying cash if possible, but if I need to bring it I'd at least like to be able to plan ahead. Thanks!

You can do any of those choices. There is a line on the bill for the tip. If you choose to use the room key or credit card, you can just put the amount on that line and give them your card. If you use your credit card, make sure you specify that you want the tip charged to your credit card. And if you want to use cash, I would write "cash" on that line and give them the cash.
