How do you guys fly?!!

Southwest!

Not usually the cheapest just for the flight but the best schedule, much closer for me than Boston and I don't have to pay for bags. Once you add that up it's cheaper.

Which airway provider do you guys use to get to orlando...Im in New England, and im just checking on any last minute possibilities before I finalize it.

I know jet blue used to do random cheap deals there but none from where Im at!!

which provider do you all fly with?!! :cloud9:

Usually we use Southwest and JetBlue. They seem to be the most competitive from our area to MCO. However, we booked with Delta recently when they were less than everybody!

I have found Southwest and Air Tran (now the same airline anyway) had the best fares and got me to where I was going on time with a little issue as possible.

Delta sometimes has a low fair, but my experience with them says you'd be better off waiting to be abducted by a UFO and have the aliens drop you off at Disney and it would be quicker and less painful than flying with Delta.

:lmao: This X1000.

I would rather go and get 10 pap smears than fly Delta.

We always fly Southwest out of Hartford. Love the no bag charge and you can get a credit if the fare goes down.

DH and I snagged a great fare in November on Southwest to MCO. $150 per person r/t.

We have a DCL planned with the kids at the end of April. I can't find anything even close to descent much less cheap. If airfare doesn't come down, as much as I hate to say it, we'll drive. I dread the thought of it.

Jet Blue out of Westchester (HPN.) Enjoy your trip!

I love Southwest..NO BAGGAGE FEES..NO CHARGE TO CHANGE YOUR SCHEDULE but they dont always have the best times or non-stop for where I'm going

We drive into Boston and fly JetBlue for the last few times but mostly it has been who has been the cheapest. Jetblue still has their cheap Tuesday with a bunch of deals out of Boston that were put out today. Look on their Facebook page.

There are many websites like orbitz, travelocity, expedia, kayak, airfarewatchdog, etc. (etc is not one of them, it means "and more") where you can track cheapest tickets, there is no only one cheapest airline company.

Once you search for tickets on a website, cookies are placed on your computer that will cause the prices to go up the next time you visit. Actually they have tons of tricks to sell you tickets for the highest price. Actually they have tons of tricks to sell you tickets for the highest price. We can fly from Philly, Allentown and Newark (Allentown being 10 minutes from my house---PHL and EWR are about an hour, and an hour and a half respectively)

I choose whoever is cheapest, figuring parking into the equation too. Right now, nobody has good fares. :sad2:

I found some on air tran for 87$ in the beginning of june out of ABE...

I REALLY wanna go back. I found a great deal on a hotel, getting there is actually the problem... I'm tempted to drive, its just so much money flying 6 of us even with 87$ fares :scared1:

The past few trips we've flown Jetblue. I like the fact that your first bag flies free. My kids like the TVs and the free snacks. And in the past I've always gotten a good deal.

But right now they're $60 pp higher than Southwest... so I may be booking Southwest soon. I WILL pay extra for the preferred seating thing. I don't care where we sit, but I want to know the 5 of us will be together.

Take a look at www.kayak.com They'll compare prices for you. And don't be afraid to try alternate airports. From Long Island I'll fly out of Islip, JFK or Laguardia, even from one and back to another, if the price is right.

About to board another Southwest flight. Although I used Airtran flying out of Orlando. Never had a flight/changed or canceled due to the airline. Only weather delay. I learned the hard way to never fly out of San Fran, no matter the price.

We've flown Delta from Bangor on two different occasions - they were coming out the cheapest for flights that actually land at MCO (Orlando airport) rather than Sanford (which means car rental, etc). The only problem we experienced was weather related but Delta got us on our way via other flights and airlines (and bumped us up to 1st class). I would use them again for this trip, but instead we are flying out of our local airport on Air Canada as we are worried about driving to Bangor if it's snowing (and we have to use a hotel coming and going).

AirTran, only direct flight option, but they're leaving in June. :sad1: Now it'll either be Delta (not direct & ds doesn't handle the pressure changes well) or driving 3 hrs to Nashville to fly nonstop.

You may as well just drive to Orlando.
