I have seen photos posted of several incredible looking desserts. One of the ones that I really want to try is the Macadamia Nut Tart. But I don't want to go to Kona for a meal. Can you make ADR's for dessert or can you get it to go?

I'd love to know what are my options for just getting desserts rather than meals.

Thanks!

I'd like to know that, too! The fruit in Earl Grey soup/dessert in France is calling my name.

If you make an ADR, I don't see how they could force you to order more than what you want. They must know that not everyone wants a 3 course meal every time they eat! I have absolutely no clue about the to go part, though.

This is an absolute favorite of mine, and yes you can schedule an ADR for just dessert. We've done it on more then one occasion, most often just for the tart:goodvibes

We do this a lot. We usually go during off-peak hours, tell the CM at the podium that we just want coffee and dessert, and we've never had a problem. Doing it this way has worked for us because there's usually less of a wait during off-peak hours, and if they know you're just ordering a dessert course, they sometimes try and slot you in quickly. That doesn't mean you should feel rushed, just giving you an idea of what our experiences have been.

Have fun!!!

I was thinking about making ADR's for the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater in DHS as I really want to take in the themeing there. Now that I know there is the option of having drinks and dessert only is great! :yay: I'm sure this will be easier for us to schedule in to our (too short) upcoming visit! :upsidedow
