How do you get to the Hoop dee doo........

If you are not staying on property or visiting a park on that day. We will be in Orlando for two weeks the first one at Orange Lake the second at Disney. We decided to do the Hoop de doo review our first week. Can anyone tell me how we get there???

You could drive to Ft. Wilderness and take the internal bus to HDDR. Or park at the TTC and go to MK and take the Ft. Wilderness boat. But, if MK closes early that could be an issue for your return to TTC.
I'll bet that Tyler will have a much better answer for you.

Tyler is a former Disney Transport driver. He knows everything about transportation at WDW. Your best bet is the first answer. Drive in to MK entrance, take the cut off to Ft Wilderness, Park at the reception outpost and take the internal bus to HDD.I think that would also give you free parking as opposed to the TTC.

Thanks hobogary, I was wondering if we have to pay to park at the TTC is we were not going into the park. Seems like the best bet is to drive to Fort Wilderness. Do you know if we will have any trouble getting in if we are not staying there??

You will have no trouble parking at Fort Wilderness. There is a seperate entrance and parking area for guests who aren't staying at FW. It is just a bit further than the entrance for FW guests if you're coming from the MK entrance area.

As you approach the parking booths for the MK, stay toward the right and tell the Cast Member where you are going. You'll be pointed to a single lane road rather than the lanes for MK guests. The CM will explain it all.

You're welcome but I forgot to tell you one important thing!

The farthest lane to the right is for buses only. But the next closest lane or two will make it easier for you. Just be sure to tell the CM you're going to the Hoop. You'll follow that single lane road for a short time and then take the first right. Down that road a half mile or so and you'll be at the entrances to FW.
