how do you cook ribs before grilling them?

haha, most of all your instructions make no sense to me at all. We have a gas grill, and an electric range. Oh, and a crock pot.

I know this is not a typical "ribs" cut of meat -- the pp who talked about it being part of a pork loin butt is right. But 2 BIG packages for $10 (BOGO) was too good to pass up. Basically, I just buy whatever meat is on special that week and design dinner around it. So "fake" boneless ribs is it!!

Anyway, going to rub them, foil them, and toss them in the oven right now. Do I poke holes in the foil, or not?
A-ha! The key word I missed was "boneless".

You people are amazing! :worship: :worship: :worship:

I made country style ribs last night for dinner. I used a BBQ rub on them, foiled them and put them in the oven at 275 for 3 hours and I finished them with BBQ sauce on the grill.

They were fall apart tender and so delicious! Thank you for adding a new trick to my cooking repetoire.

rub a thin layer of mustard on them and then put on your favorite rub, the mustard holds the rub on and cooks away.

Put them in your smoker for 4 or so hours at 225 and you get something that looks like this
