How do you close out your Ebay account?

About 3 years ago, I joined Ebay, bought a half dozen items & haven't used it in ages. I've decided to just close out my account but can't figure out how to do this. I thought the instructions would be in "Manage My Account" or "FAQs" but didn't find it under either once I logged in. Originally I tried to close out my account about 4 mos ago but could never figure out how to do it.

If you go to this page and scroll down to the bottom it will give you a link to sign in & then request your account closed:

I found the info by going to the Help tab and typing in close account. HTH!

Thank you, Karen. You're a lifesaver. I went ahead and closed out my account. I didn't like having an account open that I was no longer using.
