How do we get to The Wave from MK?

I probably sound like an idiot, but we have ADR's for tomorrow night, and in thinking through everything, I now realize I really don't know how to get there. Can we walk or do we need to take a monorail? And if so, where do we walk or what monorail? Thanks for any help!!!

You can do both. I prefer to walk it as the Contemporary is right next door. When you leave the park, walk out to your left (there is a path), past the buses. You will cross one street (there's a light) to get to the Contemporary parking lot, then walk across to the entrance of the hotel. I believe The Wave is on the same level as check in...(if I'm wrong about the location of The Wave, I know someone here will set me straight)!

Take the resort monorail to the Contemporary.


Or you could walk.

The Wave is just past the check-in area. We took the monorail to the Wave and then walked to MK after dinner. Enjoy!

I would take the monorail from MK to get there because the Contemporary is the first stop after MK, but if you are returning to MK after dinner, it is faster to walk back because on the monorail you will have to make the whole loop and make stops at the TTC, Poly, and GF before getting to MK.

After getting to the Contemporary take the elevators to the first floor. The Wave is located to the far right of the check in desk.

I'd walk and not worry about wrestling with the monorail. It's a short walk and well marked once you exit the MK.

I would walk. It is about ten minutes. When you enter on the first floor, go all the way past the end of the Front Desk and turn left and you are there.

If you take the monorail you have to go up the hill (make sure it is the Resort line and not the Express) and go one stop. Then you need an escalator down to the 4th floor and an elevator to 1.

I would say to walk because you will enter the Contemporary lobby and The Wave is located next to the Lobby Concierge desk, so you won't have far to go.

We walked last year, after a busy day at MK. It was a late lunch, and the place was very empty. We plan to return.
