I know it's another 1.5 months until I make our ADRs. I want to try some new places this year and this is going to take getting some help from other DISers. We are doing no 2 TS credits. DH is currently on a diet and wants to try not to gain too much weight while there, places that serve a lot of fried food is out. We are going Dec 17-24 and these are our possibilities:

Liberty Tree Tavern dinner--a must do--dh's fav
Captain's Grille (any other choices in the Epcot area resorts? We've done this one before)
Akershus (breakfast--actually hoping for late breakfast, so brunch)--Done this one before and our fav bkfst on property
Teppan Edo, Le Cellier, or Tutto Italia for CP
Chef Mickey's (believe it or not, we've never been)
'Ohana (haven't done it for dinner--is it worth a try?)
Kona Cafe

Any reccommendations? We would like to do as many dinners as possible in the area near the parks, ie--Ohana, Kona, WCC, or CM same day as Magic Kingdom.

African food is out--I have serious acid reflux and every time I have ever had African food, I've been sick afterwards.

Any other suggestions?

Looks like some good choices! The Grand Floridian Cafe could be an option too for your Magic Kingdom day if you can not get any of the others that you want more.

Good luck when making your ADR hope you get what you want! :thumbsup2

Personally, I wouldn't do WCC--unless you try breakfast (the food at dinner was awful as was the service). How about The Plaza in the MK? You indicated DH was dieting...they have great sandwiches, soup and salads--portions are huge. The sandwiches come with french fries or brocolli slaw.

How about the WAVE ? Ck the menu out I think it will work good for your DH .
