How do I go about resizing a disign after saving it to my computer?

You can do this a few ways. Some turn out better than others. If you have a program like photoshop or photo impact, you can resize there using the "transform" button.

Before I made any designs myself, I used to resize in Microsoft Paint (in your accessories folder). Open your design in Paint, and then click "Image", "Stretch/Screw", and then change the horizontal and vertical percentages by the same number (if you don't do the same number, it will stretch your image all wonky). Remember your early math lessons -- to enlarge the number needs to be greater than 100, and to reduce it needs to be less than 100.

Another hint: Make sure you are saving the largest image that you can. Be sure not to save the thumbnails, especially in people's photobuckets... make sure you click on the image and that it is 100% in size before you right click and save the image. I'm sure you already know that, but my sister and I have both made that mistake and had to go re-find and re-save images!

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need to use a program other than Paint. You could also open it in Word by "insert"ing it. That way you can right click on it, go to properties, and change the size... make sure it's staying in scale and not going all wonky. Word can actually be easier to use to make sure it prints on the page the way you want it to. It's easier to change your page setup there to landscape or portrait as well.
