How do I turn off email notification?

I registered here this morning, and I have all these email notifications when I respond to a thread. How do I turn that off?

Go up ot USER ID, then to EDIT OPTIONS and then turn off emaill noticifation by default...dont forget to SUBMIT MODIFICATIONS at the bottom when you are done.

Up on the top left hand side, click on User CP - you will find a list of options and preferences.
