How do I prevent email notifications everytime someone responds to me

I thought I clicked off the two check boxes in my settings to avoid receiving emails for every alerts, however I still receive them.

Further down that page, there are several options for receiving notifications. Have you unchecked all those?

I'd like to receive alerts on the forums, just not by email

After the first two options regarding emails are 2 (actually 4) more options about “automatically watch content... and receive emails.” Make sure the “receive emails” part is not checked.

I'm getting emails too, and I have every email notification unchecked. I want alerts but I'm getting crazy amounts of emails that won't stop.

So funny as I have everything clicked to receive emails and they aren't coming to me. I Want them!
