How do I plan for this group?

So far I have only planned trips for 1-3 people. In October, I am planning a trip for 6...and quite the motley crew..

Me--Mid 30's
DBF--Mid 40's
DBF's son and Nephew, both early 20's
DBFs Daughter and her friend 16/17 years old.

DBF's kids have been numerous times since they were little, but the other two have never never been.

DBF is super picky, the rest are more open, I am looking for places that would be fun for a slightly larger group (as I'm sure we might get a bit raucous.)

I plan on coming up with a plan and sharing it with them, if I just ask it will turn into an argument I'm sure!

On my short list right now:

50's Primetime
WCC
'Ohana (for dinner)
Teppan Edo/Biergarten
Donald's Safari Breakfast

Thought, suggestions?

I think all the restaurants you have selected are a good choice.
where are you going to be staying on this trip as that may have a bearing on where you eat? If you are in a MK resort, O'hana's is a good meal as is WCC. IMHO, I think WCC is a little more rowdy and the CM's have always been a lot of fun with my family and I when we have been there.

In DHS, 50's prime time is a great choice IMO. The CM's will definately give you heck if you don't eat all your veggies or set your table up just right.... :rotfl:

Teppan Edo/Biergarten- We have eaten at Teppan Edo. This is a good meal but not much opportunity to be rowdy. I think Biergarten would be a better bet for that!!!

Another restaurant to think about is Chef Mickeys. It is always rowdy. Also Hoop de doo is a rowdy restaurant with yummy food. The show is great in my opinion as well. Hope this helps you out!!!

I usually stick with buffets (ie Hollywood & Vine) as our 3 teens are picky eaters....they were 16, 15, 14 last trip (July '08)

But your group is a little older and possibly more sophisticated eaters...

Teppan Edo is my (now) 17 yr old son's FAVORITE thing about WDW.....

O'Hana dinner should be rowdy/fun! It's really cool too if they're the kind of Young Adults who clap along and join in the singing & stuff...

Thank you both! They do love Benihana, so I think Teppan edo may be a good choice. I am worried that dbf won't like Biergarten.

Another option is to have each 'group' pick one place for 'their' dinner night then you fill in the balance. Get everyone involved in some of their favorites

the nice thing too with your age groups, is to have a free night - eat where you want, meet up later.

A nice romantic dinner could occur.....:lovestruc
