How do I notify a special event?

Made all our adr's online yesterday.
Dh birthday comes out on our trip and on a day we have 2 adr's - at crystal palace and biergarten. How do I let them know ahead that it's dhs b-day?

You can either tell the host/hostess about the birthday when you check in for your meal or call the dining number and have them add it to your ADR.

Sure, you can call the dining number (407) WDW-DINE anytime before your trip. I called two weeks ago to add birthday celebrations for my son's birthday next week (We leave for WDW on Sunday). If you call, just make sure you have the confirmation numbers for your ADRs -- The CM will ask for them.

Even if you have it added in advance, let your server know it's your DH's birthday. Also be sure he wears his birthday button.

Just an FYI: Because so many people are celebrating something while at DW -birthday, anniv, graduation, engagement, etc - it's best not to expect restaurants to do something special. While sometimes he may get a birthday dessert or some sort of recognition this will not always happen.
