B]Figure out how much you need to save for the trip. Then, think about something that costs about that much to buy. Something that won't make her suspicious. Like exercise equipment, new high end computer, or an expensive plasma tv, ect.
Then, tell her you want to set aside money for that each week, so you can buy it paid in full next summer. Then, she'll know about the money and see it sitting separately as you save up for your faux purchase next summer. Then, when the time comes, you spring it on her and the family that the REAL reason you've been setting aside this money is for a family trip to Disney World....yeah.

This is the best idea I've read.....this could work. OP I too handle all the money in the house.....I know where every penny goes. But DH is right now saving for a new computer.....which between me and you I really couldn't care less about......so if he came to me in a year and told me all the money he had been saving was to take the family on a vacation I would be thrilled!
Does anybody want my DHs number.....maybe you guys could give him some ideas?
