How do I make more people view my threads?

I want more people to view my threads. For example, I've noticed that some threads are viewed by 1,000 people. How can I give my threads that many people's attention?

(BTW, I am viewer #745. My own threads don't even get this many views. Maybe I should post something more interesting than surveying to see who else has a cold that's been going for over 8 weeks.)

I would like to send out a congratulations to liquidbase, as his thread has just surpassed the 1,000 view mark.

As to our scientific experiment, after 4 1/2 hours we are at 7,985 views and 437 posts. If we keep this up, world hunger will be a thing of the past.
