how do I keep from driving everyone else Disney-crazy

We have 142 days left before our trip - how can I not drive everyone else nuts about all the things I've read and planned. My DH's favorite phrase lately is "yes dear, you told me that before dear, you're addicted to planning this trip dear".

Anyone else have this problem? Either I have an over abundance of enthusiasm or everyone else in my family has a severe lack of enthusiam.

I am just like the little pink guy below - can't sit still!

I feel your pain!! If you ever find a cure, let me know....my family, friends, co-workers, mailman, grocery store clerks, acquaintenances and a few other people I know would definately appreciate it. They are ALL sick of hearing about my trip!

It's great to be able to come share our enthusiasm with other Disney-addicts! Our trip is only 36 days away now (finally!) and I keep telling myself that they will all be so glad for all the pre-planning once we're there!

I see on your MGM day you have forgotten to arrange a Character breakfast or Fantazmic Dinner package for Hollywood and Vine!!! This a must eat at!! It has the best food in all of WDW!! And minnie is decked out in hollywood style!!!

there isn't much to eat at ABC Commonacary.

I am just like you. I have been planing this family trip for months. we leave in 22 hours WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW cant wate. Isnt this Board great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8 days csr disney then 8 days at daytona to rest up.

Husband wont talk Disney with me till Oct. Son (9yr) sees that father wont so he doesnt. MIL lives in FL during winter so I cant constantly call her. Thank God we have these boards.
Husband said he will start to talk to me in June because I told him thats the 120 day mark to start making PS.
MIL is planning on sitting on Cape Cod beach (spends her summers here) with me during the summer planning itinerary, PS, etc.
Work is getting real sick of me doing the Disney talk but 2 of them also have/recently had their own Disney trips to look forward to.

jenbren I am rolling on the floor laughing!! That is exactly how I feel - next time I will just leave the bunch of 'em at home!

I am just glad I am not the only one! Maybe we should start a support group for our spouses ....Disney Widows/Widowers! hehehe

I have 147 days left, and my dh is fed up to the gazoo with my talk about this trip. I try not to mention it more than once every two days, but it's so hard not to!!! I sometimes think I might be obsessed, but then I come to these boards, and find other people in the same boat. I'm not alone!!!

My DH can't understand my interest in these boards, we just returned on 4/14 from our trip to WDW and he thought once the trip was over I didn't need to check this site daily but I just can't help myself! I'm already trying to figure out when we can go back and hey, you just can't plan far enough ahead, right? At least all of you understand!

that everything we do, eat, see, watch, smell, etc. reminds me of (as he says) " ...let me guess dear, Disney?"

But just when I least expect it, I catch him saying how much he misses it !!!!!

There is no hope for us, and I am glad for that!!!

My DH is also sick of hearing about our plans! In fact a couple of days ago I got upset that he wasen't paying attention and he turned to me and said our entire weeks plans from start to finish even the PS times and then asked if we could talk about something else! I stood there with tears running down my face and he asked why. I just smiled being 6mo pregnant and said that you love it as much as I do don't you... He just kissed my forhead and went out to mow the grass. I've got to quit talking to him about it but it is so hard! We should start a 12 step program to not plan our DH's into the dust. Thats not the kind of pixy dust I'm in search of.

DH loves Disney as much as I do but just wants to worry about it once he gets there. Everyday before he comes home, I think to myself, "Today I won't say a thing about our trip". Then, it just happens. Can't help myself. Yesterday I shoved a whole bunch of menus in front of him before he even got both feet in the house. He said, "Are we going to have to live the magic everyday till we go?". I told him that we probably would. DS (11) is saying the same thing. We still have 103 days left. I need the 12 step program too!

Wow, I was starting to think there was something wrong with me! I'm driving DH crazy! We leave in 153 days and I'm on these boards all the time. Hey, I have to have something in my life other than DH,DS,DD, & work. I figure I don't drink (in excess), smoke, do drugs or even get out of the house other than to work or run errands. This is good clean fun with great, friendly, and knowledgable people.
