How do I get into Busch before doing DC?

Hi everyone, its my first post on this thread but I've read it loads and got lots of really helpful info from you all. But I have a question....

DH & I have booked to go to Dicovery Cove on 4th July (its our 1st time and we can't wait, we're sooooo excited) and we took the option of having the free entry into Busch Gardens. We'd like to do Busch a couple of days before we go to DC but we're not sure about the ticket arrangements. Do we just turn up at Busch with our confirmation letter from DC, or do we need to go to DC first to get the free Busch tickets?

People who did this for SWF just showed up with their confirmation letter, and went to guest services.

In the confirmation email that I received, it stated:

If you plan on visiting SeaWorld Orlando prior to your Discovery Cove visit, simply present your confirmation letter at the SeaWorld Orlando Guest Relations window, located at the front gate.. If you plan on visiting Busch Gardens Tampa Bay prior to your Discovery Cove adventure, simply present your confirmation letter at the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Tour Office window, located on the right side of the ticket plaza.

We chose the SW option and had no problems getting in before the DC date. However, my friend chose the Busch Gardens option and had a lot of hassle to get in - it took over 1/2 hour before they could get in. She said that not many BG employees were familiar with this program. That was a year ago, so maybe they've straightened things out, but I would contact Busch Gardens directly to make sure.

It was the best!!!! I picked that day because I knew all the parks would be jammed and DC only allows 1000 people. It was like paradise. You guys are gonna love it! Remember to get there early and don't forget your underwater cameras!!!!
