So you don't think that the fact that it will be a historical vehicle next year would have any impact on the price? I'm all for dumping it, i guess I'd just be ticked if we let it go for 800 then found out it was worth more. Just trying to figure out if that historical age would make it worth more.
Your van won't be worth anymore more because it's "historic" as defined by the age. It makes getting tags/insurance cheaper (at least in maryland it does, my husband just tagged a 1989 IROC camaro because MD now defines 20 years as "historic").
Starcraft is/was a conversion company. I have a 1996 Chevrolet Mark III conversion van. Mark III was the company who did the conversion (and went bankrupt years ago). The van itself, if I'm to look up the "book value" is a 1996 Chevrolet Express G10 1/2 ton van, that's how it came from the factory (look in the owner's manual for yours). The fact it's a conversion adds a small amount of value, but honestly I've found that conversion vans lose value FAST. Especially when the beast is such as gas guzzler, and gets 15 mpg at best! (but it sure is a sweet ride on those long Disney trips

)
It was less than 4 years old when we bought it with 30k miles and in pristine condition (still smelled new inside) and we paid HALF what the original owner paid!
We thought about selling it about a year ago. I've had it for 10 years, it has 119k miles on it and it's VERY clean and extremely well kept. All the bells and whistles, leather interior, power seats, sofabed, tv, game system, fancy lighting and wood cabinets, runs and looks perfect.
I *may* have been able to get $3000 for it on a good day because that's the going market for it.
Honestly I would take whatever someone is willing to pay for it if I were you.
