We all know (don't we
) that WDW passes are non-transferrable and that it is against Florida law to traffic in resold passes. I've seen news shows where they've confiscated passes from unsuspecting visitors who are then out hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. Anyway, this was sent via email to the entire organization where I work earlier today (about 7000 employees):
I went to WDW over Christmas. The weather wasn't great. I have 2 adult tickets with 1 day (expiration date13 May 2002) on each & 2 other adult tickets with 3 days for sale. The cost to get into one park only is $48.00 U.S. at the gate. The tickets I have are hopper tickets you can go to Aninal Kindom,Epcot, MGM & Magic Kingdom on the same day. Each of the four tickets I have for sale have 4 days admission to any of the water parks, Dowtown Disney Pleasure , Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. I will sell these tickets for $50.00 (Canadian) per day.
First off, I was there over Christmas and thought the weather was pretty good (expect for Christmas Day) all things considered.
Now, maybe she's just ignorant of the fact that she can't resell the tickets. Me, personally, I'd give them away (and have, in fact, done so in the past) rather than see them expire unused. I'm wondering whether or not I should reply to her email (and cc: the rest of the organization) to let any unsuspecting people aware of what could be involved if they buy these from her. Any suggestions?
