How do I book a split stay at 11 months?

Now that I've already booked one trip for this October, I'm looking to schedule our next visit in June of 2011 but I'm not sure how this will work.

I have 100 point contract at BLT with a Dec UY plus 4 banked points from 2009. I think I can use the 4 banked plus the 100 2010 points plus borrow whatever I need additionally (about 35) from 2011 when the 11 month window opens up in a few weeks - is that correct? (I am interested in studios only.)

If I want to have a split stay, do I have to book 2 separate BLT stays at the 11 month mark and just cancel one at 7 months if something I want somewhere else is available or can I make one 7 day reservation and just change it to say, 3 or 4 days before I add the other resort. I think I have to do the former but I want to make sure. (I think I CAN do the latter but would have to cancel the 7 day reservation and re-book a shorter one with a good chance I'll no longer get what I want at BLT.)

You can book the whole thing as one reservation and when you are able to change (7 months) you can modify the reservation to do the split stay.

You should use your 2009 points for this year's trip. They can't be used in 2011.

Her banked 2009 points are fine for the first 11 months of 2011 - her use-year is December.
