How Do I Apply Unused Tickets to Sept. Package

Hubby and I each have 1 day unused tickets from last year and we would like to apply them to our Sept. vacation. Can anyone tell me the best way to to this to get the best deal.
PS...we have APs that expire in March that we do not plan to renew. We will just buy tickets with our free dining pkg.

Go over to the Theme Parks and Strategies board.

There is a sticky at the top of the page "All you need to know about tickets."

If you have any additional questions after reading the sticky, there are a few very knowledgable people over there, who actually are CM's that work with the ticket dept.

You basically upgrade them at Guest Relations after their first use. Then you get them put on your KTTW card.

Since you are required to buy 2 day tickets to get the free dining package, adding the 1 day ticket you have will reduce it's value to $62 instead of it's $82 value.
If you don't see yourself using that ticket in the future anytime you could go ahead and add it. If you think you'll be back without booking a package (which required a ticket purchase) then you could hang onto it.

I'd save it and use it in the future if you book a room only res.

You cannot combine the 1 day ticket to the 2 day ticket to get a 3 day ticket. You cannot apply the cost of your 1 day ticket and have it credited against upgrading your 2 day ticket. It's a one-to-one upgrade. You either keep the 1 day and upgrade the 2 day, or keep the 2 day and upgrade the 1 day.
